To start and end daily cash shifts:

1. Navigate to POS Terminal in your Admin or Cashier dashboard.
2. Click Open Shift Register and enter your starting opening cash drawer balance (e.g. ₹2,000).
3. Process customer dine-in, takeaway, and online orders throughout the day.
4. At the end of service, click Close Shift Register. The system generates an automated shift audit report detailing total cash, UPI, Razorpay/PhonePe card payments, and any drawer variance.

In the active POS cart window, select Split Bill to divide payment equally among guests or by specific ordered items per seat. To apply discounts, enter a pre-configured promotional coupon code or enter a custom percentage/flat rupee discount. High-value discounts require Manager authorization PIN.

Staff waiters log into the Gainz360 Mobile App on Android tablets or phones. They select an active dining table, tap items with custom notes (e.g., "Extra Spicy"), and press Send KOT. Orders instantly sync to cashiers and kitchen screens.
